It will help leaders and managers at all levels identify and close trust gaps that exist in their department. Participants will be able to better manage change and lead high-performing teams that are agile, collaborative, innovative, and engaged.

During this class we will learn what effective communication entails, recognize the barriers and mistakes to effective communication, understand how to utilize the three basic elements to communication and learn how to be an active listener. We will expand our learning of DISC styles and explore how each style can communicate more effectively with their teams. A representative from Human Resources will discuss how to communicate effectively when providing positive discipline and managing the challenging, along with Union environment considerations.
